Build 322: Easier Upgrades, Better Batch Building and Filters for Ask At Runtime

Build 322 makes upgrading from earlier releases much easier and improves the Batch Builder functionality. We've tested the upgrading with several older versions and it seems pretty smooth but if you have older sets (from Foxfire! 3.0 ), try them out and let me know what we're missing.

With the Batch Builder, you can now specify individual filter criteria for Ask At Runtime and create an immediate shortcut that can be easily added to the Windows Task Scheduler.

This new build also fixes problems with using the Full Ask At Runtime editing.

New folders are automatically supported as well, including items for Batches, Imported and Exported requests to make file management much easier.

Build 321: Minor Refresh to ConfigBuilder, Data and Preference Set

The FFCONFIG Builder has been updated to work a little better. We're still putting some finishing touches on it, like a Find and resizing standards but it generates a fully workable FFCONFIG file. It may be found under the System Admin tools.

The data item for Cars Color has changed slightly to compensate for the changes in the content. In previous builds, it has been case sensitive on its searches. If you download the full install , you will find it is no longer so.

The Remote screen from the Preference Set editor has been updated to include the DB Type so users can switch between different types of SQL generation when using Remote data sets.

Both the refresh and the full install have been updated to Build 321 as of 4/5/2004 8:30am EST.
